From target to platform in two clicks

Set monthly budgets at the account or campaign level. Blueprint calculates suggested daily amounts based on your pacing strategy and remaining days. On Pro, push those suggestions directly to Google Ads and Microsoft Ads with a confirmation modal that shows current vs. proposed values side by side.

  • Monthly targets with pacing strategies

Even, front-loaded, or back-loaded pacing. Campaign-level targets roll up to account-level umbrellas without double-counting.

  • Budget boosts & rollovers

Temporarily increase campaign budgets for promotions. Carry forward underspend or overspend from the previous month with configurable caps.

  • Push to Platform

Push suggested daily budgets to Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. A two-phase confirmation shows current vs. proposed values and per-campaign results with retry on failure.

How budget targets work

Set your monthly budgets, let Blueprint calculate the daily plan, and push changes directly to your ad platforms.

1. Set monthly targets

Create budget targets at the account level or per campaign. Choose a pacing strategy — even, front-loaded, or back-loaded. Campaign-level targets roll up into account-level umbrellas without double-counting.

2. Review suggested daily

Blueprint calculates a suggested daily budget for each campaign based on remaining budget, days left, pacing strategy, active boosts, and rollover carry-forward. Suggested values update daily.

3. Push to platform

Click "Push to Platform" to open the confirmation modal. Blueprint fetches live budgets from Google and Microsoft, shows current vs. proposed values, and applies changes with per-campaign success/failure results.

Everything in budget targets

From simple monthly targets to advanced rollover strategies and platform write-back.

Account & campaign-level targets

Set budgets at either level. Campaign targets are independent and roll up into account-level totals without double-counting.

Budget boosts

Temporary spend increases for promotions, seasonal pushes, or client requests. Boosts overlay the base target for a specified date range, then automatically end.

Budget rollovers

Carry forward underspend or overspend from the previous month. Configurable caps prevent extreme rollovers from distorting your budget strategy. Calculated automatically on the 1st of each month.

Push to Platform (Pro)

Push suggested daily budgets to Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. Two-phase confirmation modal shows live current values from the platform alongside your proposed changes. Per-campaign results with retry on failure.

3 pacing strategies

Even distribution (uniform daily spend), front-loaded (spend more early in the month), or back-loaded (reserve budget for later). Set per target.

Push history & audit log

Every push is logged with timestamp, campaign, previous value, new value, and success/failure status. Visible in the Audit Log for full accountability.

Platform support

Budget targets work across all three platforms. Push to Platform is available for Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.

Budget targets FAQ

Yes. The Push to Platform feature (Pro only) sends suggested daily budgets directly to Google Ads and Microsoft Ads via their APIs. Blueprint shows a two-step confirmation modal with your current budget alongside the proposed change before anything is modified. Meta Ads budgets cannot be pushed because Meta manages budgets at the ad set level.

Budget rollovers carry forward underspend or overspend from the previous month into the current month's target. If a campaign underspent by $500 last month, that amount is added to this month's budget. Rollovers have configurable caps to prevent extreme carry-forwards from distorting your budget strategy. They're calculated automatically on the 1st of each month.

Budget Pacing monitors your actual spend velocity against targets and projects where you'll land at month-end. Budget Targets is where you set and manage those targets — monthly amounts, pacing strategies, boosts, rollovers, and push-to-platform. They work together: targets define the plan, pacing shows whether you're on track.

No. Push to Platform is a Pro-only feature. Free plan users can still set budget targets and view suggested daily budgets, but pushing those budgets to Google Ads or Microsoft Ads requires a Pro subscription.

Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. Meta Ads budgets are managed at the ad set level (not the campaign level), so Blueprint cannot push campaign-level budget changes to Meta. Meta campaigns are excluded from the push confirmation modal with a tooltip explaining this limitation.
