General
4 questionsBlueprint is a multi-platform PPC management dashboard for agencies and freelancers. It connects to Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads through a single workspace, giving you centralized budget pacing, AI anomaly detection, quality score tracking, search term analysis, and team collaboration — without switching between platforms.
Blueprint is built for performance marketing teams, SEMs (Search Engine Marketers), PPC agencies, and freelancers who manage campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, or Meta Ads. It's designed for teams of 1 to 20+ who need a clear, shared view of campaign health without the complexity of enterprise tools.
Blueprint combines three core differentiators that most PPC tools don't offer together:
- Instant anomaly detection — 16 local detectors run in real time at zero AI cost, covering spend anomalies, pacing deviations, quality score drops, wasted search terms, impression share erosion, and more.
- AI-powered explanations — opt-in Gemini narratives explain detected anomalies with possible causes and suggested actions, so you understand the "why" not just the "what."
- Quality Score history — Google Ads doesn't store historical QS data. Blueprint captures daily snapshots so you can track trends and correlate quality with CPC over time.
Blueprint supports three platforms:
- Google Ads (REST API v23) — the most complete integration, including keywords, quality scores, search terms, change history, and conversion actions.
- Microsoft Ads (REST API v13) — campaigns, keywords, daily spend, change history, and conversion goals.
- Meta Ads (Graph API v25.0) — campaigns, ad sets, ads, and daily spend. Covers both Facebook and Instagram with no separate setup needed.
Pricing & Plans
6 questionsThe Free plan includes 1 ad account, 1 platform connection, up to 5 team members, and access to core features: Budget Pacing, Budget Targets, Quality Score tracking, Search Terms analysis, Negative Keywords, Account Settings, and Team Management. Every new account starts with a 15-day Pro trial — full access to all features, no credit card required.
The Pro plan ($75/month per connected ad account) unlocks advanced features:
- AI Summaries — Gemini-powered change history narratives that explain what changed in your campaigns.
- AI Insights — opt-in explanations of detected anomalies with possible causes and suggested actions.
- Experiments — A/B ad copy testing with real-time statistical significance analysis.
- Placement Exclusions — manage where your ads appear across the display network.
- Workspace Alerts — automated notifications for budget and conversion thresholds.
Blueprint pricing is simple: Pro is $75/month per connected ad account, billed monthly. The Free plan supports 1 ad account and 1 platform connection. Billing is handled through Stripe, and you can manage invoices, payment methods, and billing contacts in the Billing & Plans section.
Ad accounts are counted as those with active campaigns connected to your workspace. LSA-only accounts (Local Services Ads) are excluded from the limit since Blueprint doesn't currently support LSA-specific features. This means you're only paying for accounts that Blueprint actively analyzes.
After your 15-day Pro trial, your account continues on the Free plan — 1 ad account, 1 platform connection, and up to 5 team members. Pro features (AI insights, experiments, placement exclusions) become unavailable, but you have a 7-day grace period to upgrade before Pro-only data is removed. Your ad data, campaigns, spend, keywords, quality scores, and budget targets are never deleted.
No. Every new account gets 15 days of full Pro access with no credit card required. After the trial, your account continues on the Free plan — no payment needed. A credit card is only required when you choose to upgrade to Pro.
Platforms & Integrations
4 questionsBlueprint uses industry-standard OAuth 2.0 for each platform. You authenticate through Google, Microsoft, or Meta's own login flow — Blueprint never sees or stores your platform passwords. Access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage, and refresh tokens are managed automatically by background workers.
Blueprint syncs the following data from your connected accounts:
- Campaigns — name, status, budget, and bidding strategy.
- Keywords — quality scores, expected CTR, ad relevance, landing page experience, CPC, impressions, and clicks.
- Search Terms — daily search term reports with spend, conversions, and impressions (Google Ads).
- Quality Scores — daily snapshots with sub-component ratings.
- Daily Spend — account-level and campaign-level spend, clicks, impressions, and conversions.
- Change History — campaign status changes, budget updates, and geo targeting modifications (Google and Microsoft).
Sync frequency varies by data type to balance freshness with API rate limits:
- Every 6 hours — daily spend, campaigns, change history, and conversion actions.
- Every 3 days — quality scores (with manual triggers available anytime).
- Every 7 days — search terms.
All syncs are rate-limit-aware with concurrency controls to prevent API throttling. You can also trigger a manual sync from the dashboard at any time.
Blueprint requests the minimum OAuth scopes needed to pull the data it analyzes:
- Google Ads —
adwordsscope for full ad data access. - Microsoft Ads —
msads.manageandoffline_accessfor ad management and token refresh. - Meta Ads —
ads_managementandads_readfor reading and managing ads data.
Blueprint does not request write access to modify your campaigns. All data flows are read-only analysis — your ads run exactly as you've set them up.
Features
9 questionsBudget Pacing shows whether you're on track to hit your monthly budget targets. The dashboard displays total budget, spend month-to-date, projected end-of-month spend, remaining budget, days left, and pacing status. A spend-over-time chart shows daily and cumulative spend against the ideal pacing line, and a day-of-week breakdown highlights spending patterns across the week.
You can set pacing strategies per campaign — Even (uniform daily spend), Front-loaded (spend more early), or Back-loaded (ramp up later in the month).
Blueprint runs 16 local detectors across 8 modules — covering metric anomalies, pacing and budget issues, quality score drops, wasted spend, competitive signals, creative fatigue, targeting inconsistencies, and change impact analysis. Detection runs instantly with no AI cost.
On the Pro plan, you can click "Explain with AI" on any detected anomaly to get a Gemini-powered explanation with possible causes and suggested actions. Explanations are stored for 7 days and rate-limited to 10 requests per hour.
Google Ads doesn't store historical Quality Score data — when a score changes, the old value is lost. Blueprint solves this by capturing daily QS snapshots every 3 days, giving you a complete trend history. You can track QS over time with trend charts, see component ratings (Expected CTR, Ad Relevance, Landing Page Experience), and view keyword-level CPC alongside quality scores for correlation analysis.
Keywords are filterable by quality category: Excellent (8–10), Good (6–7), Fair (4–5), and Poor (1–3).
Search Terms shows which user queries trigger your ads and identifies wasteful patterns using n-gram analysis. Blueprint tokenizes search terms and extracts 1, 2, and 3-word substrings to surface common wasteful patterns. You can tune the wasteful criteria — for example, "spend over $50 with fewer than 1 conversion" — and adjustments happen instantly since filtering is client-side.
When you identify wasteful terms, you can select n-grams and add them as negative keywords in bulk through a single workflow.
Change History tracks modifications to your campaigns, including status changes (pause/resume), budget updates, bidding strategy modifications, and geo targeting edits. Blueprint logs these changes in a timeline view so you can see exactly what changed and when.
On the Pro plan, you can generate AI-powered narrative summaries that explain the changes in plain language, making it easy to share campaign update reports with clients or teammates.
Morning Pulse is your workspace health overview — a single dashboard that surfaces the most important signals across all your connected accounts. Instead of checking each platform individually, Morning Pulse shows you pacing status, detected anomalies, quality score shifts, and budget alerts in one view so you can start your day knowing exactly where to focus.
Client Reports lets agencies and freelancers build branded performance reports for their clients on any plan, including the free tier. Each report includes your agency's logo and colors alongside your client's branding, with sections for KPI summaries, performance breakdowns by account, conversion trends, change logs, and recommendations. AI-generated executive narratives are available on the Pro plan. Reports are self-contained snapshots you can share via a single link. Free plan retains reports for 90 days; Pro retains indefinitely.
Yes. Every client report gets a unique shareable link with a secure token. Your clients can open the report in their browser without creating a Blueprint account or logging in. The public report viewer displays the full branded report — KPIs, charts, narratives, and recommendations — exactly as you designed it.
Yes. The report builder includes an AI-generated executive narrative that summarizes the reporting period's performance in 2–4 sentences. You can use the AI-generated text as-is or edit it before finalizing the report. The narrative covers key metrics, notable changes, and overall trends — giving your clients a quick, readable overview without them needing to interpret the numbers themselves.
Security & Privacy
4 questionsYes. All OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage in the database. Encryption keys are managed via environment variables, and tokens are never exposed in API responses. All connections use HTTPS/TLS for data in transit, and the platform includes comprehensive audit logging so you can see exactly who accessed what and when.
Blueprint stores aggregated advertising data — spend, clicks, impressions, conversions, quality scores, and search terms — along with workspace settings, team memberships, budget targets, and audit logs. Blueprint does not store your OAuth credentials or personal ad account passwords. Connection metadata (platform, account name, last sync time) is stored, but never the actual tokens in API responses.
Blueprint implements multiple layers of privacy protection:
- Rate limiting — applied per IP address and per user to prevent abuse.
- RBAC enforcement — permissions are checked on every API request (Owner > Manager > Analyst > Viewer).
- Session invalidation — changing your password immediately invalidates all active sessions across all devices.
- Failed login lockout — after 10 failed attempts within one hour, the account is temporarily locked.
- Email enumeration prevention — registration returns the same response whether an email exists or not.
Yes. Blueprint maintains comprehensive audit logs that track all team member actions within a workspace — including invites, role changes, and member removals — with timestamps and IP addresses. Workspace Owners can view the full audit trail in Settings, providing complete accountability for team activity.
Account & Setup
5 questionsGetting started takes just a few minutes:
- Sign up — register with email/password or Google SSO.
- Create a workspace — name your workspace (e.g., "Acme PPC Team").
- Connect ad accounts — go to Settings > Connections and authenticate with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, or Meta Ads via OAuth.
- Invite team members (optional) — add colleagues with specific roles via Settings > Team.
- Explore dashboards — data begins syncing immediately. Most users see their first dashboard within minutes.
A Workspace is your team's container within Blueprint. Each workspace has its own set of connected ad accounts, team members, billing, and settings — completely independent from other workspaces. You can create up to 5 workspaces per user account, which is useful for agencies managing separate clients or business units.
Blueprint uses four roles with cascading permissions:
- Owner — full access to everything: connections, team management, billing, settings, and all features.
- Manager — can invite team members (Analysts and Viewers only), manage features, and view all data. Cannot create connections or manage billing.
- Analyst — read-write access to features: view dashboards, create negative keywords, set budget targets, and generate AI insights. Cannot manage team or settings.
- Viewer — read-only access to all dashboards and reports. Ideal for client access with no risk of accidental changes.
Go to Settings > Team and click "Send Invite." Enter your colleague's email, select their role (Manager, Analyst, or Viewer), and copy the invite link. The link expires after 24 hours. Your colleague clicks the link and accepts — they'll need to log in or create a Blueprint account first. Owners can invite any role; Managers can invite Analysts and Viewers only.
Invite your client with the Viewer role. Viewers can see all dashboards and reports — budget pacing, quality scores, anomaly detection, search terms — but cannot modify campaigns, budgets, or settings. This gives clients full transparency into their campaign performance without any risk of accidental changes. Viewer seats don't count toward your team member limit on the Free plan.
