The Reporting Problem
Every agency knows the drill. A client wants a monthly performance update. So someone on the team opens Google Sheets to pull spend data, switches to Looker Studio for conversion charts, screenshots a few campaign tables, pastes everything into a slide deck, and writes a summary paragraph that tries to sound insightful at 4:30 PM on a Friday.
Multiply that by ten clients and you've got a full day of copy-paste reporting every month. The data is stale by the time it's delivered. The formatting is inconsistent. And if the client asks a follow-up question, someone has to dig back into the raw numbers to answer it.
This doesn't scale. Agencies spend 20-30% of their time on reporting tasks that add zero strategic value. The data already exists in your ad platforms. What's missing is a way to package it into something professional, branded, and fast.
That's what Client Reports solves.
What Client Reports Does
Client Reports is a three-step builder that creates branded, self-contained performance snapshots from your connected ad account data. No spreadsheets, no screenshots, no slide decks.
Step 1: Select a Client
Choose from your existing clients, each with their mapped ad accounts already configured. Blueprint pulls the latest performance data automatically based on the accounts assigned to that client.
Step 2: Configure the Report
Set the date range, review the auto-calculated KPIs, and let the AI generate an executive narrative that summarizes the period's performance. Add your own recommendations, edit the narrative if you want, and review the change log of what your team did during the reporting period.
Step 3: Preview and Publish
Preview the full report as your client will see it. When it looks right, publish it. Blueprint generates a unique shareable link with a secure token that you can send directly to your client. No account creation needed on their end.
What's in a Report
Every published report includes eight sections, designed to give clients a complete picture of their ad performance without overwhelming them with raw data.
- Header with Dual Logos — Your agency logo alongside the client's logo, with the report title and date range.
- Executive Summary KPIs — Six metric cards showing spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, CPA, and ROAS with month-over-month or quarter-over-quarter comparisons.
- AI-Generated Executive Narrative — A 2-4 sentence AI-written summary of the period's performance, trends, and notable changes.
- What We Did — A change log of actions your team took during the reporting period: campaign launches, bid adjustments, audience changes, and more.
- Performance by Account — Breakdowns by individual ad account (Google, Microsoft, Meta) with account-level KPIs.
- Conversion Performance — Conversion metrics across all accounts, including conversion rate, cost per conversion, and conversion value.
- Trends — Dual area charts showing spend and conversion trends over the reporting period.
- Recommendations & Notes — Your team's strategic recommendations and any additional context for the client.
Branding That Matches Your Agency
Every report is white-labeled to look like it came from your agency, not from Blueprint. Here's how the branding system works.
The report header displays your agency logo alongside your client's logo. Both are configured in your workspace settings. The report's primary color — used for headers, chart accents, and KPI highlights — follows a cascading resolution order: it first checks for a client-specific brand color, then falls back to your agency's brand color, and finally defaults to Blueprint's teal if neither is set.
This means you can set your agency color once in Settings and have it apply to every report automatically. Or, if a client has specific brand guidelines, you can override it at the client level. Either way, the reports look like your reports.
There's no Blueprint branding visible to clients on the published report. The URL uses a secure token, the page displays your logos and colors, and the content is entirely about the client's performance.
AI Does the Heavy Lifting
The executive narrative is the part of client reporting that takes the most time to write well. It needs to be concise, accurate, and insightful — summarizing what happened, why it matters, and what changed.
Blueprint's AI generates this narrative automatically. It analyzes the report's KPI data, compares it against the previous period, identifies trends and anomalies, and produces a 2-4 sentence summary in professional, plain language. No jargon, no filler.
You can use the AI narrative as-is or edit it before publishing. Most teams find the generated text is 80-90% ready and just needs a sentence or two of team-specific context. Either way, you're starting from a strong draft instead of a blank text box.
What's Next
This initial release covers the core reporting workflow: build, brand, and share. But we're already working on the next phases.
- Report Templates — Save report configurations as templates so you can regenerate monthly reports with one click.
- Automated Scheduling — Set reports to generate and publish automatically on a recurring schedule (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- PDF Export — Download any report as a print-ready PDF for clients who prefer attachments over links.
- Batch Generation — Generate reports for all clients at once, review them in a queue, and publish in bulk.
These features will roll out over the coming months. If you have specific requests, reach out to our team — your feedback directly shapes the roadmap.
